LOVES Wooden Canoes
Herb Adams has put together a short trip on the Beaver and Ohio Rivers for Saturday, September 22nd. We will meet and park at the river edge in Beaver, PA at 9:00 A.M. Plans call for about a three-hour trip stopping at Kelly's Pub for lunch on the Beaver River. Herb has a lot of interesting history and detail regarding the area we will paddle through. This will be all new to me and I'm really looking forward to it. Only severe storms will cause a change in plans. Note: While you have your calendar out, highlight October 20th for our paddle, picnic, and annual meeting at Sylvan Canoe Club in Verona. Bring your best wooden canoe(s) and plan to paddle up to Dam #3 and back on the Allegheny River, enjoy a great picnic, and plan the next year's activities. The picnic and meeting will be in beautiful Sylvan lodge.
