Seats For Lakefield

Working on this post 1938 Lakefield. Attached are a before photo and a progress photo. The canoe came with only the stern seat as shown in the before photo and it appeared to be a plain board someone had stuck in. Wondering if anyone has any information about what the original seats would have looked like and how they were made.

Hi Andy, here are the seats just after re-caning, from my circa 1915 Lakefield 143. I think the later boats used the more conventional square seat patterns. And here is a shot of the floor rack from a 30's Lakefield.
