I have attached a picture of a canoe under sail.
I am trying to ID who made a rudder with just one side of the "T" at the top of the rudder and then moved it with a single stick pulled forward and back.
The Willits Brothers used the typical "T" at the top and attached sticks to each side.
Who built the single sided rudder with just one stick???
I would appreciate a reply from you guys up in Canada that know the history of the Canadian builders. I notice that the old canoe catalogs from those builders do not show sail rig equipment.
