Has anyone heard of Oliver Clark as a boat and canoe builder in the Buffalo/Western NY area? I believe he taught classes on boat building; maybe associated with the Buffalo Maritime Center. I have one of his canoe molds. Thanks for whatever you can offer.

    Hi Jim,

Have you tried contacting the Buffalo Maritime Center directly? There are some good folk there.

Thanks, Dan. Yes, in fact, I sent them a note today right after I posted this note - and immediately got a positive reply. They even named a twin-masted sloop after him - the OK Clark. I will keep snooping. I believe they just opened up again to the public.
