How to destroy a canoe --
At least he didn't turn it into a bookcase....
I have no issues with turning strippers into bookcases...none.
Sad to see any useable canoe so wantonly destroyed...That's what scout troops are for. All he would have had to do was lend it.
Here is the guy's explanation why he did this (Thanks for this Greg);
Crazy! but I think the canoe holds up pretty well up to the point where he shoots holes in it and gets the chainsaw out!
and yes I understand his motives but in my world all canoes are equal
Seems a little loose in the head.
Do what you will i guess, but at least he didnt try to burn it with all that goop on it. Personally i'd have done the dryland gunwale bob myself....
I like how he wears a life-jacket when hes in the canoe on land but not when hes on the water!
Can we get that canoe swing at Paul Smiths?
That's great. Thanks for that video link.
Nutso, is my opinion. Wrecking a boat for fun aint' cool. Also like like Rollin says, PFD while on land, not wearing one on the water.
I try not to judge as I get older but..... a lot of kids and adults who have never even been canoeing would have loved to have that canoe. I gave away a 1070s kayak this weekend for free , she was in rough shape. Never saw kids so happy to get it.
Greg Nolan This also shows that how strong this construction was.
It makes my eyes hurt.
