Cedar Strip Canoe, hand built by Bruce Oxford
Custom cedar strip canoe, 16 feet, hand built by the late craftsman Bruce Oxford. This canoe has been well cared for at Priest Lake since it was constructed, and is now on the market to the right person who will appreciate the quality. This canoe has made many memorable trips from Beaver Creek Camp Association, around Mosquito Bay, up the Thorofare to explore Upper Priest Lake and back. 16 feet in length, with removable cedar floor boards, wicker seats and paddles. Always stored under cover. Construction spec sheet and materials list included. Please see the pictures to appreciate the beauty of this rare canoe. Brass fittings throughout. Included was the materials list and spec sheet with design based on the "Lakefield" model supplied by Walter Walker. All proceeds will be donated to a local (Priest Lake watershed) environmental protection non-profit, the Selkirk Conservation Alliance.
