Serial number 10577 is a 17 foot long, CS grade, XX model (an early version of the modern Otca model) with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, twenty inch maple decks, spruce thwarts, a keel, outside stems, a painter ring, a floor rack, and two spruce paddles (one was 5 feet long and the other was 5 feet 9 inches long). It was built between January, and March, 1909. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on March 29th, 1909 to Dayton, Ohio.
The interiors and bones are beautiful. However, restoration is needed: the canvas needs replacement or fiberglassing, the seats need re-caning, a small amount of the woodwork and trim might have been replaced or need replacing.
