Price: Asking $1,200
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Description: It is with a heavy heart that I post this canoe for sale. It has been in our family for over 80 years. It hasn’t gotten wet in the last 10 years and deserves to be in the hands of someone who will paddle it and appreciate it.
This is a Carlton canoe, built in Old Town, Maine in 1922. It spent its entire life on Walloon Lake, Michigan, with the exception of a few side trips in Michigan. It is 16 feet long and had some professional repairs after some misadventures during the 1960s. I believe the cane seats are original. Circa 1960 my Dad removed the original canvas and covered it with fiberglass.

asking $450
Located , Branchville NJ
Description, This boat has been fiberglassed. Would make a great restoration project Needs work on outwales and inwales. But usable as is.
The hull is in pretty good shape - 2 cracked ribs, but the inwale tips and inside stems need the normal replacement. The decks were oak and termites destroyed most of them. One inwale is beyond repair but seats and thwarts are good, seats need recaning. The outwales are good, the keel is also broken/rotten in several pieces and needs to be replaced.
