Three Rivers Chapter March Meeting

Max Peterson

LOVES Wooden Canoes
On Saturday, March 10, 2007 the Three Rivers Chapter will host a session on "Hollow Mast Construction" for sailing canoes using the bird's mouth tecnique. We will meet at Max Woodworking, 1000 Transit Blvd., Bethel Park, PA at 10:00 a.m. and should be finished shortly after noon. Ric Altfather, an active WCHA member from the Cleveland area, will present the session. Machinery will be set up, sawdust made, and perhaps even a mast or two will result. The coffee is always on. Call Max at (412) 831-7066 if you have any questions or need directions.

Thank you

Thanks for the fine presentation Ric.

You had a lot of good practical tips for mast and spar building.

Your PVC sander/planer was more than worth the price of admission.

Thanks back to you!

It's always nice to experience an active group such as the Three Rivers Chapter and share ideas. Max's shop is to die for...don't know if I would produce any more projects but would love to run all the machines! This may inspire me to form a "North Coast" chapter?

Thanks for the kind words,

Ric Altfather
