Thompson Princess rowboat

LOVES Wooden Canoes
Just thought I'd share with you my newest addition to the family. It is a circa 1932 Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. (Peshtigo, WI) Princess Rowboat. She's not a canoe but cool looking tho!

15 foot length, cedar strip hull construction over steam bent white oak frames.

She's in nasty shape. It will be next in line for restoration after the '59 Thompson Off-Shore Cabin Cruiser.

No dry rot - but plenty of wet rot. No such thing as dry rot. I hate that term.

She will need new keel, lots of new ribs, some new planking. Gunwales and inwales are in tough shape. Stem may need some patching.
