I have been doing some homework and need some advice.
I am wondering how to fasten the strips to the inner stems?
Are they glued?
And I have been reading about the outer stem and that it should not be glued to the inner stem, I am guessing it should then be fastened with screws?
I have not figured out how to begin with the first 2 strips. Is this the area where staples are used?
I am sorry to ask all of these questions, but I look before I jump. My 11 year old son and I would like to begin building the strip canoes.
I am an ex-deputy who used to share my canoe with several manatees in Cocoa Beach, but because of back problems, have filed for disability.
