Sail kit from Sailingtogo.com

I have no experience with equipment from SailboatsToGo so I can't help with that. I am not encouraged from what I've seen on their web site. My suggestion is that you get or make something that is closer to the original sail rigs that were available when your Yankee was new. See http://dragonflycanoe.com/otacc/index.html and http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?4107 for more about these rigs. Many of the builders listed at http://www.wcha.org/buildsupply/ will make a custom rig for your canoe that might cost the same or less than one from SailboatsToGo. Scott Barkdoll offers one on his price list at http://www.skywoodscanoes.com/canoes/pricelist.html for example. There is a canoe with one listed at http://wcha.org/pp-classifieds/showproduct.php?product=655 and you may be able to buy the rig alone. You can often find an old canoe with a sail rig that you can use if you look around a bit. Good luck,

Benson

Thanks for the links. The dragonfly link does clearly show the components. Now, I'm thinking of buying the sail, spars and mast from sailboattogo and making everything else. The mast step and mast partner look easy enough and the lee boards don't pose much of a problem either.
