Even though there is no Ohio chapter, Chuck Hoffhine took the initiative to setup a WCHA booth at the 1st Paddlepalooza April30th and May1st@ The Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. Chuck and his wife Judy, Craig Johnson and his wife, Max Peterson, Andy Huytera, my wife, Carole and Myself all attended and brought canoes and Craig's Old Town boat. The 1000 or so attendees showed a lot of interest in wooden canoes. Thanks to Chuck and the gang for spreading the word about WCHA. Gil

Had a great time at paddlepaloosa. My first event and chance to meet other WCHA members from the area. First is me and a couple of my boats, then Chuck Hoffhine manning the booth, Then Gill Cramer holding court.
