Old Town Serial Number Request

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 164639 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Yankee model with a keel. It was built between January and March, 1956. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on May 23rd, 1956 to Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Various woods were used as described below from the 1956 catalog. The 1950s and later build records were not as detailed as some of the earlier ones.
