The Old Town canoe with serial number 109217 is a 16 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, open oak gunwales, oak decks, oak thwarts, oak seats, half ribs, and a keel. It was built between February and March, 1931. The original exterior paint color was turkey red. It was shipped on April 9th, 1931 to Ann Arbor, Michigan.
