    NWWCHA Fall Meet, Manning Park, BC
    September 15-18, 2016-Extra Day Thursday!

    Directions:
    Easy to miss: From Hwy 3, east of Hope, turn right after the Manning Park Lodge, 41 km from the west entrance, (marked by carved marmot).
    Follow signs to Lone Duck Group Camp 2, Lightening Lakes, 4 km off Hwy 3.

    Accomodation-Rustic:
    Small shelter with picnic tables and wood stove; outside is a fire pit.
    Pit toilets. Showers available at nearby Lightening Lake Campground.
    Parking lot and a large walk-in area for tents. Bring tarps for rain.
    No RV hook-ups or electricity.
    Potable water available.

    Reminders: Passports, passports, passports!
    Potluck supper item for Saturday night-main, sides, salad or dessert.
    $5 per person per night. Kids and grandkids are welcome!
    Canadians bring firewood, if no ban.
    Warm clothes, hiking boots and sticks. Be ready for regatta paddling.  Gently used or new "valuables" for Saturday afternoon fundraising auction.
    Musical instruments and voices for campfire sing-along.

    Friday, September 16

    Early morning dawn patrol
    Meals on your own
    Afternoon paddling event (TBA)
    Evening Visiting and songs around the campfire bring your instruments!

    Saturday, September 17

    Early morning dawn patrol
    Breakfast on your own
    Morning Canoe Regatta
    Lunch on your own
    Afternoon Auction
    Supper Pot Luck (Bring meat, salad, side or desert dish to share)
    Evening Mike Elliott Kettle River Canoes (Mike presented his talk "Canoe Connections" at the spring meet and it was very enjoyable. This time he will present his talk titled "O Ca-na-noe".)
    Visiting and songs around the campfire bring your instruments!

    Sunday, September 18

    Early morning dawn patrol
    Meals on your own
    Visit and enjoy our final moments together before we head home
    Packed up and heading out around 11am

    This schedule is tentative and is subject to change. Please pick up the most up to date schedule when you register.
