We had a fantastic weekend and perfect weather for our paddle on the Manistee River in Grayling. 003.jpg 004.jpg 006.jpg 012.jpg

Chris, Enjoyed the video. The shots when you had the camera on a pole you seemed to be able to keep the subject in frame. How were you able to do that. Does it have a remote monitor?

Did you paddle the same section as last year?

No, this year we went from M72 to CCC Bridge. 14.5 miles.

Ok, thanks, was curious. How long did this trip take? Was the river relatively clear?

6 hours, mostly sandy pebbly bottom. Not particularly fast, average 4 ft/mile but seems much slower for long stretches. Some log clutter that might pose a problem for some in lower water. You want to paddle come on over the the SW corner, lots of rivers over here that are as good.
