I have had this canoe for 20 years . Id like to identify the maker with your help.
12 ft. Canvas covered, gut seats ,34" wide,12" deep ,2.25 " ribs ,3inch planks.
Im located in Ontario Canada . Small plain metal plate inside rear with the numbers TA227. No decal
Decks look like Chestnut company but the edge is rounded/routered.
Thanks Jim

My guess is a Huron with the gut seats. How the deck goes in will confirm. If inwales notch into deck and there is a thin strip that covers the inwale to the ends, then it is a Huron.

Thanks for your reply. After reading about Huron that led to pictures of the deck on Faber canoes. My deck is notched like you suggested but the rounded deck edge suggests Faber. This is a great site
