Subject: Fredericton River Festival - Celebrating the Chestnut Canoe

Dear Canoe Enthusiast,

I wanted to send you a little note about the “Fredericton River Festival” coming up June 11th & 12th, 2005, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. It’s been 100 years since Fredericton’s Chestnut brothers obtained a patent on their internationally renowned canvas Chestnut Canoes – so we figure it’s worthy of celebrating!

The Festival will feature an Exhibit and Trade Fair of all things river related, a Chestnut Canoe Rally where people will have the opportunity to showcase their canoe, a great line up of folk music entertainment, a Family Paddle and an ‘Amazing Race’ style paddling event.

It's going to be a fantastic two day gathering designed to highlight the St. John River and our connection to it. June 12th is also National Rivers Day which commemorates the history and promotes the natural, cultural and recreational values of Canada's rivers.

For more info on the festival including exhibit & trade fair space for your products, sponsorship opportunities and the Chestnut Rally please contact:
