Floor rack hold downs

Does anyone have a photo handy of the blocks that are used to secure the floor rack in Old Town canoes? Also, how many are used in an 18 foot canoe?

I can wing it and come up with something, but a photo would refresh my memory.

This is all I have right now. I could get any photo you need, but I'll be out of town for a couple days. 3 "lugs". This is an 18' Otca.

I just finished these, and I know there original . Everything on this canoe was never messed with. 1930 HW model 17 feet and there's 3 not counting the two on the end of the stems. 1 1/2'' x 3/4

I am pretty sure the blocks are just scrap floor rack spruce, and the turnbuckles are scrap stem band.

Yes Dan, that makes sense. I just didn't have one to look at and the photos refreshed my memory nicely. For some reason, I was thinking rib scraps many have been used, but I suspect that wouldn't hold the rack down tightly, so spruce scraps it is. I will proceed from here. Thanks again!
