Decorate a mini-paddle for 40th Anniversary Assembly

    Calling all artist paddlers

    Decorate a mini-paddle for the 40th Anniversary Annual Assembly

    I have carved a variety of 12” mini-paddles in a various woods (white cedar, mahogany, black cherry, black walnut, maple and birch) for anyone who is interested to decorate (using markers, paint, incised carving or wood-burning (pyrography).

    My idea is to provide one cedar and one hardwood (unfinished) mini-paddle to whoever wants to express themselves, perhaps in the vein of, "What the WCHA means to me".

    The results will be displayed at Assembly and made available to members through the annual fundraising raffle/auction.

    Outstanding Rob! Beautiful work you've done there and what a wonderful thing to do for Assembly attendees. This should prove to be a popular activity (among many others) at Assembly 2019.
