Just browsing Kijiji, in Victoria, B.C.- was excited by an ad for "excellent condition" Chestnut for $750 obo. As picture shows, does look to be in excellent shape, though to my surprise it is fiberglass and not w/c. Still, for a fiberglass canoe has very nice wood trim, and if I'm not mistaken, includes what look to be 2 original Chestnut paddles with it. I already have a "plastic" boat I use for days I know I'll be dragging over beaver dams, gravel bars, blowdown etc., -perhaps this would be a good boat for that and still be a Chestnut. Have a great assembly all!
