I'm getting ready to recant the seats in my OT Yankee. Can someone provide me with direction as to what diameter cane is typical? Any other tips would be appreciated as well!

    Thanks,

Somewhere I saw a chart that showed the appropriate cane. It has to do with hole diameter and distance between holes. I tell my caneing gal to use the largest cane she can for the size of the holes. Canoe seats take more abuse than a typical dining room chair.
I think the chart may have been on the H. H. Perkins (cane supplier) website...

    Thanks Guys!

Used Franks Cane and Rush. They were very helpful. Have finished the stern seat with only a few hiccups along the way. I used the following website to help me along the way.
