Hi Todd - try woodefinder.com. I checked on basswood near you and there isn't must listed close, but maybe not too far.

Basswood, Tilia Americana, is widely distributed in the east, even through western Virginia, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. That said, for difficult-to-locate lumber I've gone directly to good sources no matter where they were and had lumber, even 20' lengths, shipped freight directly to me from great distances (like over 3000 miles!) at reasonable cost. Another option I've used is to have good local/regional lumber yards order in what I need. They can add things to their usual orders and this can reduce or eliminate shipping charges for you.
