Anybody know this builder?

An Ebay item has come up sale recently that might be of interest to some of us:

Item ##201791257693 16 Foot Old Town Canoe w/Accessories. Quality Craftmanship. Used.

It does not seem to be a OT. The seller sent me these photos to add to the listing. He says he didn't see anything stamped on the stems. I can not make out the "built by" label and what I guess it might be is unfamiliar. Any ideas?

The Ebay canoe looks very Canadian.. it's not an OT and looks like a Cedarwood.
If you do a rub of the tag you might be able to make out what it says.

I agree that it isn't an Old Town canoe and Mike's suggestion of a tag rubbing might help. The list of Maine builders at http://wcha.org/legacypages/maine-list.htm includes a Cliff Kealiher from Kokadjo who made canoes from the 1960s to the 1990s and many of the letters on the tag seem to match this. A quick Google search indicates that he also ran the West Branch Pond Camps at one time so the people there may have more information. Their web site at http://westbranchpondcamps.com/ has the contact information and more details. I have sent them an electronic mail message but they prefer to communicate by telephone due to their remote location. Good luck and let us know if you find out anything more.

Wow! Good work Benson. I will pass the information on to the seller. I hope he includes the information in the listing and it helps him find the right buyer.
It looks like a boat worth keeping around.
