Curious about Wooden Canoes
this came up for sale and I’m interested; however, when I looked at it it has been glassed. The internals look good though. The owner thinks 50’s but the serial number appears to be from the teens. What kind of canoe does the spec sheet identify it as? I would like to buy it and get it canvassed but I think it behind my skill set with the glass on it. Any advice? SN 43531 17

Thank you! $750 is probably a too much then for the potential problems I could run into. 1917 is a early canoe though.

A warning to ?.... the words...a ten foot pole come to mind , but as the song goes......"love is where you find it...." have fun ! Dave
