This weekend her stembands go on, and we will relaunch her during the Paddleby at Assembly. We experimented with the camo & simulated birch bark look. Finally settled on what we believe is her original color, which remiains under raps, (courtesy of the 'Bag Lady"). It's been a fun project.

    Chris,
Sue Audette is the 'Bag Lady'. She is also author of, The Old Town Canoe Company, Our First Hundred Years We have several of her covers, providing UV protection to the composite canoes.

We sent her specs she requested, and got a perfect fit as usual. Very affordable considering the workmanship & protection it provides.

For those unable to make Assembly, and may be courious, I'm posting a couple of pics of what we believe is Rushton's, Moss Green. Two are at 'The Point' at Paul Smiths, Saturday evening, the other on Sunday at Long Lake. Light makes a big difference, so take your pick, however the daylight pic is closest.

Forgot to ask, is that a custom mix on the paint color?

    Looks super, thanks for posting.
As I understand it is the original canvas, correct?
    did any wood need replacing?

It is all original canvas & wood, no rot or breaks. The paint is a custom mix. Thanks for your comments.

Does anyone have a pic of her at the Paddleby Friday night that we may use in our display of her preservation?

    Thanks, Dave
