We build wood/canvas canoes in 16' "Wilderness Tripper," 14' tandem "Cruiser," 14' light tandem "Sport," 11' tandem "Trapper," 10' child canoe or light adult "Lil Guy," and a 5' model for mantle decoration, toy box, motorcycle side-car, etc. We repair and restore all types of canoes. We sell seats, thwarts, yokes, gunwales, canvas, etc., as well as used canoes. Over 260 canvas jobs, over 75 new canoes. In the marine building business over 35 years.
We like to help people build their own woodstrip canoes, kayaks and small boats. Along with Ted's books "Canoecraft", "Kayakcraft" and "Kayaks You Can Build" we offer quality building materials, plans, classes and advice to home builders. Restoration work and new construction keeps our small shop busy. Our C4 and C15 wooden sprint racing canoes are used by 65 clubs across Canada in our country's oldest organized sport.
